1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember things across visits — like whether you’re signed in, which page you last looked at, or which version of an A/B test you’re in. We also use related technologies (web beacons, local storage, server logs) which we treat the same way as cookies in this policy.

3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by service providers acting on our behalf (analytics, error monitoring, marketing measurement). These vendors are bound by contract to use the data only for the purposes we specify and to keep it secure. The current list of providers is on our DPA page.
4. Your choices
- A consent banner appears on your first visit (where required) and lets you accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies.
- You can change your choices anytime by clicking “Cookie settings” in the site footer.
- Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings — note that this can break parts of the site that need cookies to work.
- We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of sale or sharing under US state privacy laws.
5. “Do Not Track”
There is no consensus standard for “Do Not Track” signals. We do not currently respond to DNT, but we do respond to GPC as described above.
6. Changes
When we add or remove a cookie provider we update this page. The latest version always controls.
